Mobile, Containers & Node.js — The Path to Enterprise Mobility
Presentation Synopsis:
The story of Enterprise Mobility since the launch of the iPhone and Android phone has been how to adopt these essentially consumer-oriented ecosystems for the enterprise. The realisation has dawned that this normally requires a dedicated server-side for each enterprise app. Maintaining these server-sides individually doesn’t make sense for large volumes of apps, platforms are needed (e.g. PaaS, MBaaS). In parallel the new paradigm of containers is becoming widely adopted for many types of server workload, and is ideally suited to Node.js. The Red Hat Mobile Application Platform on premise MBaaS packages these technologies so they can be easily used to manage a large volume of mobile apps in a convenient way.
