Researching Nanotechnology for Safe Water: A Global Solution for Developing and Developed World
An International Project funded by UK-India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI) for the period of August 2014 to August 2016
This is a multinational project between India and United Kingdom funded jointly by British Council, UK and Department of Science & Technology, India under the UK-India Education and Research Initiatives (UKIERI). In this project, we have two academic organisations and two industrial organisations. Dr Tapas Sen, University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK is coordinator of the project. Prof Asim Bhaumik, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India is leading the project from India as an academic partner. Research from the two academic research organisations is under-pinned by two industrial partners such as Tata Chemicals Ltd. India and Feedwater Ltd., UK. Industrial partners are responsible for exploitation of research outcome and a long term sustainability.
