Title: The Future of Healthcare from a ICT Perspective
Abstractive: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has progressively been incorporated into healthcare for more efficient medical practices with mobile, collaborative, and real-time connected systems. This is about to take a step ahead with the development of nano-scale communication that is being accompanied with recent advancements in nanotechnology and also 5G. Molecular Communication and Nanonetworks have appeared as options to provide not only communication of biological organisms but a way to access information in-vivo. As these new sciences emerge, new types of applications to healthcare and nanomedicine also appears, including intelligent drug delivery, neurodegenerative diseases treatment, and heart diseases. In this talk, we will explore the communication principles around this novel technologies and go deeper in their future applications.
